Railway TC Qualification 


Candidates must have passed 10th,12th in any stream an equivalent board or university of India.


Applicants who pass the Computer based test, as well as the Pshycal Efficiency Test and Medical Test that follow, must provide all original educational records for completion of the 12th 
Standard or equivalent examination as evidence in the document verification process.

If applicants fail to present original papers during the document verification stage,the board would reject their application.


Age Limit

As per requirment notifications candidates age limit is

  • Minimum Age- 18 Years
  • Maximum Age- 30 Years
  • Age Relaxation- As per government Rules.

  • For OBC Students- 03 Years
  • For ST/SC/PWD- 05 Years
  • For Ex- Serviceman- 05 years
  • For PWD+SC/ST- 15 Years

Railway Ticket collector Salary

21,000/- to 81,700/- per month and Other Allowances given by the RRB.


Selection process 

Candidates selected by the process of  (CBT)- Computer based test, (PET)- Pshycal Efficiency Test, Medical Test and  Personal Interview.


Exam Pattern 

Examination of this requirement consists of the following stages.



1. General Awareness : 25 Questions and 25 Marks.

2. General Intelligence and Reasoning : 15 Questions and 15 Marks.

3. Arithmetic : 20 Questions and 20 Marks.

4. Technical Subject : 30 Questions and 30 Marks.

5. General Science : 30 Questions and 30 Marks 

Total 120 Questions and 120 marks and 90 minutes timing.
