RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 Selection process
- Objective (MCQ) Type
- Total No. of Questions - 100
- Total Marks - 100 Marks
- Total Time Duration - 90 Minutes (120 Minutes for PwBD Candidates)
- Negative marking @ 1/3 for each wrong answered
- The total no. of candidates to be shortlisted shall be 20 times the category-wise vacancies of posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in CBT - I cum choice of posts.
- The normalized score of CBT - I shall be used for shortlisting of candidates for CBT - II as per their merit.
- Objective (MCQ) Type
- Total No. of Questions - 120
- Total Marks - 120 Marks
- Total Time Duration - 90 Minutes (120 Minutes for PwBD Candidates)
- Negative marking @ 1/3 for each wrong answered
- Normalization of marks will be done.
- Qualifying in nature
- The candidates need to secure minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the batteries to qualify.
- This applies to all candidates irrespective of category and no relaxation in the minimum T-Score is permissible.
- Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the Traffic Assistant / Station Master.
- Question and Answer options only in English and Hindi.
- Normalization of marks will be done.
- There shall be no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- The Typing Skill Test will be qualifying in nature.
- Eight times the number of vacancies will be called for typing skill test.
- The candidates should able to type 30 w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m in Hindi on a Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
