Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) degree with two school subject from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with a B.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University OR
Four year integrated B.A, B.Ed from a NCTE recognized institution with two school subjects like English, Odia, Sanskrit, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Indian Polity offered as Hons/Elective/Optional Subjects.

The candidates must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
TGT Odia
Bachelor's Degree in Arts with Odia as one of the Hons/ pass/elective (with minimum 200 marks excluding compulsory Odia subject) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates) along with B.Ed/ 3-years Integrated B.Ed. / M.Ed. from any NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University OR
