Must have passed HSC Examination or an equivalent qualification along with ITI (Stenography) and Basic Computer Skill Certification.
Junior Stenographer (Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack)
Candidates must passes a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
He/she should have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand both in English and Odia along with adequate knowledge in Computer application.

Prelims Examination
The OSSC CRE 2025 Preliminary Examination is a screening test consisting of one paper worth 250 marks, based on the marks obtained, approximately 25 times the number of vacancies (category -wise and Post-wise) will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination For Junior Stenographer and Junior Typist.
Main Written Examination
The Main Written Examination includes language paper worth 100 Marks, based on performance in the Main Written Examination, approximately 15 times in the number of vacancies (category -wise and Post-wise) for Junior Stenographer and Junior Typist will be called for the Computer Skille Test (Stage-III).
